Amber Wood is a former Army JAG paralegal, having served in the military from 2005 – 2010. She got out of the military as a SGT (E-5), and met her husband, Wesley, while she was still in the service. After getting out of the military, Amber was briefly employed with the Federal Public Defenders of the Middle District of Georgia, until she gave birth to her son, Nolan. In 2012, after the family moved to Fort Campbell, KY, Amber began her career as a family law paralegal with an attorney in Elkton, KY. After moving to Washington State in 2014, Amber began working for a family law attorney in Thurston County, and then for Mr. Schroader whom she has been with since April 2016. In total, Amber has 15 years of experience as a paralegal, with eight of those years specifically working in family law. Amber has now moved twice since leaving Washington but took her job with her, and she now lives in Pueblo, Colorado. Amber enjoys bowling, fishing, hiking, and boating with her husband, son, and step-children. Amber is also an animal lover, owned by two dogs, two cats, and a very noisy bird named Ruby.
