Amber Wood is a former Army JAG paralegal, having served in the military from 2005 – 2010. She got out of the military as a SGT (E-5). She has an Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. She has 16 years of experience as a paralegal, with experience in social security disability law, criminal defense, military law, personal injury, and family law.
Amber has lived all over the US, and moved to Washington in 2014, where she began to primarily focus on her career in family law. Amber worked in the office with Mr. Schroader in 2016. When she learned she had to move, Mr. Schroader opted to keep her on, allowing her to work from home.
Amber now lives in Florida, where she spent much of her childhood and teenage years (as a military brat, she moved often). She is a full-time mother to her 11-year-old son, Nolan. During her free time, she enjoys singing karaoke, bowling, kayaking, camping, and going to the beach.
