Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Associate Family Law Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, highly organized, and confident handling all aspects of family law cases from start to finish. This hybrid position allows for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote work flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of family law matters including divorce, custody, and support cases
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients
- Keep organized case files and meet all deadlines with accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar
- 1–5 years of experience in family law or civil litigation preferred
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Empathetic, ethical, and client-centered approach to representation
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment
